Study Inn is a purpose built student accommodation brand established in 2008, currently operating across Nottingham, Exeter, Bristol, Leeds, Loughborough, and Leicester. The staff have brought their background in hotelier to the student accommodation industry, offering a truly luxury living experience to their tenants including a 24/7 concierge, regular housekeeping service, rooms with bedding and towels supplied, and outstanding communal facilities including gyms, bowling alleys, and spa facilities.

Restricted availabilities

Study Inn uses Concurrent’s restricted availabilities to simplify their nomination agreements with universities and other groups. Within the system, they can select the availability for each room type, set specific rates, and ensure that only a specific number of rooms are sold at this rate. Tenants will then automatically be sent a link which will allow them to book directly. 

Previously, the Study Inn team had to ensure that all the details were correct and send out contracts manually which could cause delays in the booking journey. Now, as soon as they have input the availabilities into Concurrent, the system automates the entire process. This saves a lot of time and enhances the booking experience for tenants as they do not have to wait for the contract to be manually created before signing.

Integrated viewings

Study Inn also uses Concurrent’s viewings system to streamline the process of organising property viewings. The viewings calendar is integrated into their website so it’s easy for students to access. Once students book, they will get an automated reply with all the details for the viewing. Internal communication between different teams is streamlined as all notes can be added to one booking and viewed by all relevant staff, ensuring everyone is up to date at all times.

As Study Inn can use their own branding throughout the Concurrent contract signing journey, students do not even notice that they are being redirected to the Concurrent platform, creating a slick and easy booking journey for tenants. Once they have signed the contracts they can also easily access key information and documents in a centralised location - the student portal.
